Macy grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She graduated summa cum laude from Lipscomb University in nursing school. Macy has worked as an RN at Saint Thomas hospital on both the orthopedic floor and the intensive care unit. She completed her Master’s degrees from Belmont University and she is currently a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner as well as a member of Sigma Theta Tau. Macy is passionate about providing individualized, patient-centered care across the lifespan. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and baby boy, trying new foods and restaurants, and playing with her dog, Benji.
