Kristen has called Nashville home for many years, although she grew up in southern Kentucky. She began studying at the University of Kentucky, but then transferred to University of North Alabama to complete her Bachelor’s in Nursing. Kristen worked in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Centennial Medical Center, and after this she continued her education at Belmont University. Kristen graduated from Belmont University and is an ANCC board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and was also awarded her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Belmont due to her research in the area of patient satisfaction in breast cancer patients when using patient care navigators. She is a member of the Tennessee Nurses Association and the International Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta, Tau. Kristen enjoys providing care and developing trusting relationships with patients of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog Waylon, traveling, and riding horses.
